Wholesale Christmas Trees

In 1967 Aubrey Henderson established Snowbird Farms when he set his first Fraser Firs on a 30 acre plot in the Cashiers area of southern Jackson County. Over the next 35 years he would provide in excess of 2 million premium quality Fraser Fir Christmas trees to retailers throughout the east and Gulf Coast states. In 2000 we set our first 3/2 transplants continuing the legacy established 40 years ago and now 3 generations removed.
 
Grown from seed of the Mount Rogers lineage, the young trees remain in a lineout bed for 5 years. At this time they are transplanted to the field where they remain until ready for harvest in 7-10 years. All of our trees are grown at an average elevation of 4500 feet, idea for Fraser Firs! At harvest, our trees are stored upright in moistened sawdust and 100% shade until shipped.
